Each and everyone of us walked through the door at EHP for a different reason. The reason "WHY" is unique to us as individuals. What you don't know is your "WHY" might be the motivation for someone else to start or even continue walking through the door.
Why did you start crossfit?
I started because I had hit rock bottom. I was out of college and had nothing really pushing me to work out, i missed the team aspect of all the sports I played. Crossfit was literally a drunken decision I made with a friend that I didn't back out of. Almost 5 years later I am still doing it
What motivates you to continue?
After 7 knee surgeries I feel better than I did prior. I have lost weight gain muscle and feel better all around. Continuing has been as easy as breathing. I just wish crossfit would have been around while I was still playing college soccer, i cant help but think of all the injuries i would have avoided
Why did you chose to coach?
I wanted people to know that anyone can do crossfit. You don't need to be able to lift heavy, run fast or even do a pull up to start, you just need to start and those will things will come with patience. I love seeing people being able to do something that they could not do the week before. I may not move like every other coach out there but I promise I will get you to move better than me :)
