Selfish Sunday!

You work hard, take a little time for yourself. It’s okay to be selfish every once in a while, in fact its a necessity unless you want to crash and burn (which you don’t...that’s no bueno). So each Sunday, I’m going to help you be a little selfish and give you an idea of something you can do to relax and take a little break from the chaos of life.
For today’s Selfish Sunday, grab a book you’ve had on your reading list that you keep putting off or maybe have only made it halfway through in the past year (it’s okay, your life is busy). A book you enjoy reading, not something you have to read for work or an assignment, but one you’ve been looking forward to. Get cozy, curl up on the couch or in bed, and just take a little time to get lost in a book. Read as little or long as you feel. What’s important is to slow down and take some time for you, reading something you enjoy in a comfortable place.

Don’t have a good book in mind? Check out the New York Times Best Seller List here https://www.nytimes.com/books/best-sellers/ ....or just go to Barnes and Noble and find one that calls to you while you peruse the aisles sipping on a Latte from Starbucks (yes you can get that whipped cream...it’s Selfish Sunday!)
