Motivation Monday- What is your "Why"-Dawn Hanson

Each and everyone of us walked through the door at EHP for a different reason. The reason "WHY" is unique to us as individuals. What you don't know is your "WHY" might be the motivation for someone else to start or even continue walking through the door.

Why do you Crossfit?

I started cross fit because Hollie Olson convinced me to come.... I started with the 5:30am crew

And I kept coming back wondering what else I could do that I never thought I could.

I wanted to work on me and my confidence knowing as I get older I needed to start somewhere to keep my body moving.

What motivates you to continue?

My kids, the way I feel and the confidence I have acquired through cross fit. People joke about me doing cross fit but, they do not truly understand what cross fit is.

I am motivated by the people and coaches at EHP... the continued support,atta boys and feeling part of something. The feeling of getting that first pull up, HSPU, double under and not dying after riding the assault bike... progress!!! I tell people at 6pm baby steps, celebrate the small wins, and accomplishments. Continue because it’s not only yourself that sees you getting stronger, more confident it’s everyone around you.
