Each and everyone of us walked through the door at EHP for a different reason. The reason "WHY" is unique to us as individuals. What you don't know is your "WHY" might be the motivation for someone else to start or even continue walking through the door.

Why do you Crossfit?
“Robby Njos, my neighbor and friend, mentioned he had recently joined EHP. After going out for a beer and lots of questions from me, he convinced me to join him the next day for the noon class. That was all it took. I was hooked.”
What motivates you to continue?
S“I was 42 years old and going to the gym and lifting for the first time in my life. I knew absolutely nothing. I Googled videos of every movement for the next day WOD in an attempt to not look less ridiculous. That didn’t work, but the endless patience and encouragement the coaches and the 6:30 class showed me were incredible. Without that support in the first few months, it would have been easy to toss in the towel.I have been a member for a little over a year now and I continue to come every opportunity I have. I enjoy the challenge each morning brings and satisfaction that comes from completing a workout I was certain I couldn’t do. The biggest surprise for me has been the sense of community EHP provides and the personal accountability the class environment brings. I wasn’t expecting to make friends, but I have and that sense of accountability to them has proven to be a great motivator for me. Each morning we laugh, struggle, sweat and encourage each other to be our best. There is something great about that.”
