Each and everyone of us walked through the door at EHP for a different reason. The reason "WHY" is unique to us as individuals. What you don't know is your "WHY" might be the motivation for someone else to start or even continue walking through the door.

Why do you Crossfit?
I started Crossfit for a few reasons. The first was because I had been lacking any sort of structured workout/activity routine since leaving sports. I needed something I could equate to organized sports and this was a great one, two combination. There is regularly scheduled class that I can keep myself going to consistently and the program isn't something I have to come up with and proceed to get bored with. Another big one was seeing the crossfit games on TV and seeing all of the amazing things that those athletes could do. I saw that and it looked like a blast and a challenge and I wanted to see if I wanted to see what I was capable of doing. Finally, I started crossfit because I ran into Lucas W and Karla one day while I was working and he suggested I come check out EHP.
What motivates you to continue?
What motivates me to coming is a few things. It starts with the feeling that I get from working hard in the gym and knowing that even if I do nothing else with my day I've worked out and got some sweat out and I have improved myself a little bit physically. Another big one is a drive to see how much better I can be than I was. It really is an itch, and a competitiveness with myself to continue to see myself improve and see how far I can take myself on this journey of fitness.
Finally, the community that is at EHP really do keep me coming back. I feel like i've grown to be a part of a community that really does want to see every one improve and be better than we were yesterday and that is a really great feeling to be surrounded by people who have no reason to care about your improvement but they do anyway because you're part of their community. That really does feel special, to be able to walk into somewhere and feel welcome and wanted makes every trip to the gym and every workout worth it.
