Each and everyone of us walked through the door at EHP for a different reason. The reason "WHY" is unique to us as individuals. What you don't know is your "WHY" might be the motivation for someone else to start or even continue walking through the door.

Why do you Crossfit?
I started Crossfit because I was starting to feel old. I ran, swam, biked, played basketball, and was generally pretty active, but I wanted to get stronger. I tried lifting on my own, but instantly was bored anytime I did. I'm a social person, and that isolation of lifting weights by myself was soul crushing. I was self-conscious of how weak my arms were, so I didn't really want to find someone to lift with, either. Knowing that Robby Njos had been Crossfitting for a while, I asked him how it was going, and he told me how much he was loving it.
What motivates you to continue?
I am constantly motivated by all aspects of EHP. I was instantly hooked by all the welcoming, friendly people of all ages. The variety of workouts is ideal. I can scale workouts, but the coaches, with their trained eyes, are also encouraging me to push myself to places I didn't know I could go. I love working out at different times each week, getting to know different people along the way. There are weeks when I know I should take an off day, but I am so excited for the next workout that I can't pass it up!
