Do you feel like you are drinking loads of water, but it runs right through you? Are you interested in a very simple way to improve your hydration without having to force yourself to drink even more water? If so, keep reading.
A fundamental part of being a healthy human is being hydrated. With that being said, I'd be willing to bet that most health conscience people have tried to improve there hydration, at one time or another, by simple increasing the amount of water they are consuming. If you're not drinking enough water that'd be a great place to start. But if you are struggling with dehydration even though you are drinking enough you might want to consider adding these things into your day to improve absorption.
1. Eat more fibrous foods! This is a easy way to increase your potassium levels, which will aid your body in retaining water. Example: nuts, beans, spinach, etc.
2. Make sure you are getting enough Omega-3 fatty acid into your diet! Try: spinach, Navy beans, walnuts, wild rice, chia seeds, Red Lentils
3. Take a L-Glutamine supplement! In a nut shell (pun intended), it regulates the volume of water in a cell.
4. Drink coconut water!
