The World's FITTEST Doctor heads to Cape Town, South Africa.

Dr. Karla Wolford (Solum), Minnesota’s Fittest Female, is also the Fittest Female Doctor in the WORLD for the second consecutive year. Karla recently qualified in a worldwide CrossFit qualifier where the top 20 finishers will meet to compete in Cape Town, South Africa. Karla will travel to Cape Town, South Africa at the end of January to compete for her spot at the Reebok CrossFit games.

CrossFit is a training program that builds strength and conditioning through extremely varied and challenging workouts. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. While CrossFit challenges the world's fittest, the program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual, regardless of experience.

Karla will compete against other highly skilled Professional CrossFit athletes to punch her ticket to the Reebok CrossFit Games. The CrossFit Games are the world’s premier test to find the Fittest on Earth. They are world-renowned as a grueling test for the toughest athletes on Earth as well as a thrilling experience for spectators.
